The Firm has completed a number of renovation assignments at the Burnaby Transit Centre complex on behalf of BC Transit (now Coast Mountain Bus Company). At BTC North, working with Sandwell Engineering Inc., a phased renovation program was undertaken for maintenance shops, specialty work areas, related offices and employee amenity spaces in a building complex encompassing some 55,000 sq. ft. New program functions were accommodated and seismic, sprinkling and mechanical/electrical upgrades were incorporated into the work. Phase One, located in the west wing for Building Maintenance shops, was completed in 1996. Phase Two, for the Sign Shop and Bus Stop Maintenance, was completed in 1997. Phase Three, for the Coin Counting House, was completed in 1998 and Phase Four, the Trim Shop & Central Block, was finished in 1999. Total construction value of work completed was approximately $2 million.

Subsequent projects at the main bus maintenance garage included a new staff lunchroom facility and offices as well as an addition incorporating a new extended-length paint spray booth for articulated buses.
