To meet the specialized research needs of one of the University’s recently successful CFI grant applications, The Colborne Architectural Group was asked to re-plan 1,000 sq. ft. of space in the Academic Quadrangle Building. The research activity focuses on large and small ‘Interactive Labs’ for programmed human encounters with surrounding observation booths, all supported with centralized computer and video technology. Graduate Student work areas and administrative offices are also contained in the fully renovated space. Construction cost, $100K, 2004.
